Tribal Butterfly Cargo Skirt

This skirt is so comfy and soft.  Perfect for everyday wear.  To make this skirt, I used an organic cotton duck, dyed blue spruce, a greenish blue color.  I also used a coordinating fine-waled corduroy with vines and a deep forest green corduroy.  The skirt is cut a-frame and drapes nicely.

There are two front pockets that allow quick and easy access, as well as two back pockets, 1 split cargo pocket, and a stash pocket at the waist!  I designed two tribal butterfiles for the skirt.  You will find one at the bottom front and another on the cargo flap.  I cut the skirt at the bias towards the bottom and replaced the bottom corner with the vine corduroy.  To accent the line, I stitched up some finely detailed tiny chevron patchwork insert.  The skirt measures 45 inches completely opened at the drawstring/elastic waist...I will customize the elastic to fit you comfortably, okay.  The length of the skirt, from waist to bottom unhemmed is 41 inches.  This skirt would best fit someone 5'5" or taller.

Tribal Butterfly Short
Wrap Skirt

This cute lil' wrap skirt was made from the softest organic cotton duck fabric.  I made this one knee length so you can play hard!  There is a trical butterfly applique at the bottom of the skirt, where I used deep navy corduroy.  There are two front pockets that criss-cross at the top...each front pocket has another little pocket with another butterfly applique on each of them.  To finish off the skirt, I trimmed up the edges of the pockets and the entire skirt with cotton crocheted lace, which dyed nicely with the rest of the fabric.

The waist is adjustable because of the wrap style.  I would say it would best fit someone 34" or smaller at the waist.  The length is 31” long.

Candi-Gurl Sage Petticoat Slip

Hey there sugarmamas...can't be without one of these!  What I've got for you here is aunique and detailed petticoat to wear under those dresses and skirts.  This petticoat is made from a poly-cotton blend fabric to withstand many wahsings.  The petticoat is cut a-frame so that it doesn't cause any bunching underneath those skirts.

I inserted three layers of lace, which are stiched inlay, so that you can see through the lace...so delicate and feminine!  For the middle inlay lace, I weaved deep sage satin ribbon through the holes and tied them at the sides.  I finished off the ribbon threads with glass beads and white seeds!  Above and below the bottom ruffle, I added more lace trim, giving the petticoat five layers of that yummy subtle detail.  The length of the skirtwill be hemmed to fit its new owner, and the waist opens up to 45 inches.  I will add either an elastic or drawstring waist according to your preference, okay!

Rasta Scalloped Cargo Skirt W/Cowries

Hey there...many thanks for checking out my new pieces!  What I've got for you here is a SPICEY, SPICEY cargo skirt I made with a caramel twill. For the scalloped applique detailing and pockets, I used earthy burned red, burgandy wine, and olive green corduroys.

At the base of the skirt, I appliqued diamonds and circles...I then stitched cowrie shells in the centers of the diamonds and cut out the circles' centers to add some flavor.  There are two front pockets, two rear pockets, two cargo pockets, and a stash at the waist, giving you a total of seven pockets!  I appliqued diamonds on the bum pockets and stitched some cowries there, too!  :c)

The drawstring waist opens to 46 inches and cinches down to size...I added wooden beads and cowries to the drawstring.  I will add elastic to the waistband for a more comfy fit.  This skirt would best fit someone M-XL.  The length from top to bottom is 40” long and can be shortened up to 3 inches without losing the border.

Sun Wheel Anniversary Skirt

Heya mamas...I am so sorry it took me a bit longer to post this a-frame skirt!  :co
This skirt was created by my husband and I to celebrate our first year anniversary.  We met in the fall, when he came up to me and asked if I would him a pair of pants, so we chose to use fall colors.  :c)

The two random patchwork panels were stitch up by my husband, using bits and pieces of patchwork I made for other projects since we've been together...a  5 year collection.  You may recognize some of the pieces!  He stitched the panels together with some beautiful chocolate linen and added split cargo pockets.

I finished off the skirt with the bottom trim and waist line and added a stash pocket .  I then added two sun wheel appliques to the skirt...I sing to my honey "You are My sunshine," when he gets cranky...hehehe!  The drawstring waist opens to 44 inches max...I added wooden beads to the drawstring and will add elastic to the waistband if you would like.  This skirt would best fit someone M-L.  The length from top to bottom is 40” long and can be shortened up to 4 inches without losing the border.

Navajo Anvil Roo Skirt

Hey all...what I've got for you here is a super spinny organic cotton skirt.  To make the patchwork, I used a variety of earthy hand dyed fabrics, organic cottons, and cotton linen, for the patchwork, along with deep olive organic cotton weave for the double-tiered bottom and chocolate corduroy for trim.  The anvil pattern consists of 19 patches for each anvil!  I did not serge the patchwork, because it is so tiny and would cause problems with thickness and bulkiness.  However, I used a tight stitch, and the seams have been pressed open. There is a roo pocket at the front, two back pockets, and a stash at the waist, to keep your goods close by.
The a-frame skirt measures 39 inches completely opened at the waist, the length from waist to hem is 37 inches and can be slightly shortened.  The bottom spins out to a huge 130 inches!!!

Prairie Skirt W/Patchwork Lace Inlay

Hey all...what I've got for you here is a lovely prairie skirt full of sweet gurley goodness!  I have a matching lavender tank top available, too!

To make this skirt, I used an off-white lightweight cotton calico, white eyelet, lavender and grey calicos. I used the calico and eyelet to make the seminole panels, while adding lace inlay between the panels and patchwork. There is lace inlay between every patch! Lot's of lovin' in this one! :c)
I then added two bum pockets, where I repeated the lace inlay. I also added a stash pocket inside. The waistline is adjustable with a drawstring that cinches at the back, giving the skirt a bustle appearance. I finished off the front of the waistline with a subtle lace detailing as well! The waistline is 52 open completely and cinches down to a minimum of 31 inches, making a good fit for someone 30-48 at the waist. To finish off the skirt, I added a bottom tier that spins out to 86 inches! The length of the skirt measures 39 inches from top to bottom, but I can shorten it a few inches by the ruffle...35 inch length is the shortest I can hem it if you would still like to have a little bit of ruffle!

This cozy skirt is plum full of hardwork and loving detail!  To make the skirt, I randomly stitched wool leftovers from the school girl skirts I stitched for my last line.  Between each lovingly placed patch, I stitched deep eggplant organic cotton twill, which created a grid pattern.  I then stitched yarn detailing along the middle of the eggplant strips.  There is a front roo pocket, where I stitched an applique of a wooly Zuni bear.  I used yarn for the Zuni arrow, and instead of finishing off the end with an arrow, I stitched a glass leaf in its place.  There is also a teeny-weeny tiny little moose tag at the corner of the pocket.  The bottom of the skirt is finished off with handmade scalloped lace trim.  To make the trim I satin stitched the edges of a strip of the organic eggplant twill in a scallop and trimmed off the edges by hand!  There are two mini back pockets, one to be exposed depending on which way you choose to wrap the skirt.  There are two belt loops and two buttonhole entrances, allowing you to wrap the skirt either way.  Also included is a matching skirt pin!  The skirt has a generous wrap of 46 inches, not including the long ties, making it fit most anyone.  The length of the skirt is 37 inches, and the bottom is 110 inches round!

Hey all...what I've got for you here is a super cute little lady bug denim cargo skirt...perfect for everyday wear!  The skirt matches the patchowrk apron I have available for sale here!
To make the skirt, I used a vintage cotton denim and veggie dyed fabrics.  The skirt features a lady bug cargo pocket on each side.  These pockets cinch at the top, to give the lady bugs a dimensional effect!  I was so very please with the way the turned out that I made a pair of trousers, too...yayyyy!  The pocket drawstrings are finished off with wooden buttons and serve as the lady's little antennae.  :c)  There are also two front pockets with button flaps that close with wooden lady bug buttons.  The flaps serve as two of the six belt loops that hold a veggie dyed belt I made to match.  There are also two bum pockets that close with lady bug buttons, too!  I then added  a small stash pocket inside.  The skirt has an elastic waist, so that it lays flat beneath the belt.  I will adjust the elastic to fit your waist measurements.  The waist opens to a maximum of 43 inches and is cut a-frame.  The skirt will best fit a M-XL sugarmama, and though there is a finish at the bottom, I will be able to adjust the length for you without losing the trim.   The current length is 39 inches, and the bottom circumference is 72 inches round.

This simple and soft linen skirt is perfect for everyday wear.  The two large front cinch pockets and a secret stash give you plenty of room for your essentials!

To make this skirt, I used a supper soft and drapey medium weight cotton linen striped in cream, brown, red, gold, and green.  The front pockets were constructed with brown and khaki floral flax and brown linen for the drawstrings and trim.  I repeated the floral flax and brown linen at the bottom, using a shag technique...just to add a bit of flavor.

The skirt has a generous wrap of 44 inches, not including the long ties, allowing it to fit many sizes.  The length of the skirt is 37 inches (cannot be altered, sorry), and the bottom is 152 inches round!
A super Earthy linen striped in baby blue, brown, tan, and off white; along with hand dyed hemp in peaches, browns, and greens; a dusty light blue organic cotton duck; ginger root organic cotton; suty peach hemp; spuce organic cotton duck; and wooden buttons dress up this wrap skirt...whew!  A whole lotta sugar in this one!
